Patrol cars chase you, interceptors cut you off at the next junction, SUVs ram you and vans set up roadblocks, while a helicopter follows you from above with its searchlight.
The police don't just chase you, they try to box you in. If they fully surround you, you're BUSTED. But if there's a gap your car can fit through, you can still get away. Push weak patrol cars aside, reverse out of a trap, squeeze through tight gaps or make the police crash into each other. Break free when the capture meter is nearly full to earn a big Escape Bonus.
The longer you survive, the harder the chase gets, across 6 pursuit levels. Spend your stolen cash in the garage to unlock 6 getaway cars, from the Starter Compact to a heavy Armored SUV that shoves police aside and the fastest Supercar, and pick a paint color for each.
